Background information
Used for in vitro quantitative test of Feline Serum Amyloid A (fSAA) concentration in whole blood, serum or plasma. Clinically, it is mainly used for the auxiliary diagnosis and treatment effect evaluation of feline inflammatory diseases.
Test time: 3min
Test samples: whole blood, serum or plasma
Detection principle:This test employs a quantitative double antibody sandwich fluorescence immunoassay technique. Take the sample and add it into the sample dilution, mix it, then drop the mixed sample into the well of the test card, The fSAA in the sample reacts with a fluorescently labeled antibody coated on the glass fiber to
form a complex substance. Under chromatography, the complex substance and
unreacted fluorescently labeled antibody diffuse forward along the nitrocellulose
membrane, and the complex substance is captured by the corresponding antigen fixed on the nitrocellulose membrane detection line. The more analytes in this test, the more complexes formed by reaction with fluorescently labeled antibodies, and the more fluorescently labeled antibodies accumulate on the detection line. The fSAA concentration is expressed mg/L as the unit.
